GOBOULT announced the launch of Tenet, its first 100% designed-in-India TWS, built around a brutalist design philosophy. This launch marks a first-of-its-kind moment for GOBOULT and for the Indian audio category at large. With this, GOBOULT is setting footprints towards a more original and innovative design approach while continuing to create value for India’s premium-affordable audio market.
At a time when safe silhouettes and incremental visual changes dominate the category, Tenet introduces a form factor that is intentionally different. Defined by a flat-top case, bold geometry, and colour blocking, Tenet’s design draws from a retro-futurism-meets-brutalist aesthetic that prioritises functional minimalism, precision ergonomics, and a strong visual identity.
Supporting Tenet’s design is a data-led approach to form and function. The earbuds have been designed using LiDAR scanning of thousands of ear inlets, enabling a more precise and secure in-ear fit focused on everyday comfort. Complementing this is the TriArc case design, where the distinctive triangular cut is engineered to house a larger battery within a compact form.
Tenet has been entirely designed in India by GOBOULT’s in-house teams, with a sharp focus on how the product looks, feels, and integrates into everyday life.
The launch comes amid a clear shift in consumer expectations in India’s TWS market. Users of today prioritise higher sound quality, longer battery life, and a refined design language, and GOBOULT is expanding its portfolio to align with these exact expectations.
The launch of Tenet follows the premiumisation roadmap outlined during the company’s rebrand in 2025, which was supported by a ₹25 crore investment in R&D and design innovation.
Varun Gupta, Co-founder of GOBOULT, said, “With Tenet, we took a deliberate decision to move away from familiar TWS design cues. This is India’s first TWS built on a brutalist design philosophy, which required us to rethink the form, fit, and detailing from scratch. Every element of Tenet was designed in-house with a high level of precision and intent. Tenet reflects our belief that everyday tech should feel like a natural extension of personal style.”
Looking ahead, GOBOULT intends to extend this design-led approach across its entire audio portfolio, reinforcing its focus on building premium yet accessible products that deliver a strong visual identity, everyday usability, and long-term value for consumers.
Tenet: The New Shape of Sound
Tenet introduces a first-of-its-kind brutalist design in the TWS category, addressing growing consumer fatigue with uniform, look-alike TWS designs. Its flat-top, RetroMatrix case combines bold geometry with retro-tech detailing.
The case features integrated micro-labels, rubber-matte tactility, and bold colour blocking, with neon finishes that give Tenet an expressive visual identity. Design details such as the LED indicator system add functional clarity, while the TriArc slot is engineered to fit a larger
high-capacity battery for longer playtime.
With precision ergonomics and a custom moulded audio shell, the Tenet gives you a stable,
all-day fit that strengthens both comfort and acoustic quality.
