JBL has announced its Music Academy 2026, which will offer a global platform to discover, cultivate and elevate the next generation of music makers. Driven by JBL's brand purpose "Making Voices Heard", JBL Music Academy 2026 is another step in JBL's journey to create cultural impact beyond the product. Now in its fourth consecutive year in India, the academy continues its mission to empower emerging artists and reinforcing JBL’s ongoing commitment to spotlight and nurture music talent across the country.

The campaign focuses on emerging local artists and connecting them with mentorship, global exposure, and a world-class platform to make their voices heard. Global ambassadors DJ Martin Garrix and vocalist Benson Boone will mentor the selected members of the 2026 class in India in conjunction with JBL Music Academy's long-established association with award-winning brand ambassador AR Rahman.

β€œFor 80 years, JBL has stood for one thing, making sure no voice goes unheard. JBL Music Academy 2026 carries that same belief forward. It is created for emerging artists, producers, and creators from all parts of the world who view music as the language of self-expression. Unapologetic, hungry to grow, and driven to be seen and heard, this is the kind of talent we want to celebrate at JBL Music Academy 2026.”, said Shekhar Datta, Sales Management Leader, Consumer Audio India, HARMAN India.

Emerging artists aged 18 and above can apply by submitting a motivational video and up to three original music tracks at www.jbl.com/musicacademy. Applications for the campaign open on 1 June 2026 and close on 14 August 2026.

The campaign concludes with a significant JBL Music Academy event taking place at STMPD, Amsterdam in October/ November, where selected artists get a chance to perform on a world-class stage and gain access to industry expertise and creative workshops.

Some of the prominent artist-representatives in India who have previously won the contest and made it to the academy include Pratika and Raksheet Ramesh. Their work is reflective of the dynamic and boundary-pushing music culture in India.
