Bijoy Alaylo, Vice President, SOHO Sales, TP-Link India, the young & dynamic leader, has been leading company's vision to stay ahead in so competitive market. Bijoy recently interacted with Telecom Today and shared his market plans for CY2020.

Q: How do you see the brand's overall business growth in CY 2019?

A: CY2019 has been challenging in terms of the overall economic slump carried through various industries. Factors like the assembly election had a slowdown effect over many business verticals too. But to be on the positive side, we are growing our business and we have kept ourselves on the toes to touch our expectations of double-digit growth amicably. We are concluding this year on a happy note.

Q: What will be your overall business growth or target revenue for CY 2020?

A: We always looked at stable business in India as it is a market with huge potential to grow further. Due to many fuelling factors, networking market is poised to grow at good pace despite mane challenges. TP-Link would also foray into many other verticals as a product-line as well as an industry-based target, where we would be looking at a minimum of 20%+ growth in CY2020.

Q: What will be your key focused product line-up in the year 2020?

A: We still being a consumer-based company, are quite strong in the SME and SMB portfolio. This segment has been gaining great momentum in CY2019 and this also will be one of our major focus in CY2020. We will be also offering the best of technology solutions through our consumer-based networking SOHO product range. The IP based home camera will be our renewed focus into the IP surveillance industry which has a good market potential and we have one of the best products to offer Indian consumer. We being market leader in networking business are ready with planned product strategy to target all major verticals, grow our business and maintain our leadership position in the Indian market.

Q: What will be your channel strategy to drive substantial growth?

A: Our channel strategy has always been to keep our partners engaged in new technology and give them an edge over our competitors to develop their business to a more profitable one. We believe when partners are satisfied with the business margins and have a basket of products to offer to their customers they feel more attached to the brand. As of now we have around 45 Regional partners across India and have 150+ partners who we call as VIP partners. They all gain access to major support program and channel schemes which keep them motivated always. The tier 2 and tier 3 cities are the ones which are our focus currently and where we will be using various partners already connected with us to reach to new partners and eventually reach out to larger consumer base.

Q: How do you take care of service support for your loyal customers?

A: TP-Link provides one of the most reliable service support in our industry where customers have been happy with the number of touch points we have or the on-the-required extended support we provide if called for. Currently TP-Link has 11 brand owned service centres across India and 34 service locations through our National partners. We keep on investing whenever there is requirement to scaleup our service support infrastructure in particular area as we keep customer satisfaction at the top of our agenda.
