Recently we got this Saregama Carvaan Mini Kids music player for review. This music player is specially designed for the under age kids.

In the first look, the Carvaan Mini Kids looks very appealing and soothing for your eyes. As it has been designed for small kids, the color combination is very satisfying. Moreover, the material which is used to make this product is quite soft and smooth so it will not hurt the kids. This music player is easy to access and works without the internet connection so it is quite a good thing about this device.
Design, Built Quality and Portability
The design of Saregama Carvaan Mini Kids is very impressive and appealing. The music player is compact and lightweight thereby it can be easily carried anywhere. The total weight of this audio player is approximately 250 gms. The built quality of the audio player is really good as brand has taken topmost care while manufacturing this product. Overall, the audio player has a good design and built quality that make it a perfect choice for kids.
The audio player has dedicated buttons for each mode like Rhymes, Stories, Learning and Mantra.
Apart from these buttons, there are several other buttons as well on the top that can help users in managing the music. These buttons include, Power, play/pause, next/previous, volume controls and loop.
At the back side of the audio player, there is an LED light indicator, a Type-C charging port and a dedicated slot for Aux. Users can play their own collection of music by connecting other devices through the given USB port. Furthermore, next to the USB port, there is an option given to RESET the device.
If you look at the right side of the device, you will find a 3.5 mm headphone jack with which you can listen your favourite stories or mantra privately. And a bluetooth button is also there next to the headphone jack so you can connect your tablet or smartphone with this device. The model which we reviewed was of baby Blue color.
Features, Usage and performance
Saregama Carvaan Mini Kids has a large playlist which includes Rhymes, Stories, Learning content and mythological Mantras. The four buttons represent the particular mode. The first mode is for Rhymes, it is a collection of 80 preloaded classic Hindi and English rhymes that can help your kid learn the new things in a very simple way. The buttons are easy to press and you don't need to put extra efforts. The loud and smooth audio suits to ears.
The next mode is for Stories where 300+ Hindi and English preloaded stories can be accessed. Some of the stories include Panchtantra, fairy Tales, Akbar Birbal, Moral stories and Mythological stories. The big and curated collection of stories fascinate even the old aged people and they can enjoy these stories along with their grandchildren. This mode is one of the best part of this audio player and such nice informative stories not even boost the knowledge of children but also improve their moral values as well.
Third mode is for Learning, You can let your child learn any fun learning songs out of 15 preloaded songs that cover several topics based on Numbers, Alphabets, Tables, Phonetics and more.
The last mode is Mantra which lets your child learn some devotional mantras. These mantras create a positive environment and allow you to learn something new. The mantras can be listened by anyone irrespective of the age. The audio player has a collection of over 30 preloaded mantras.
During the review, we listened to lots of stories, mantras and rhymes in order to evaluate its performance and the collection. After hours of usage, we were truly impressed with its performance. The audio quality is awesome and we did not observe any glitch throughout the review hours. The audio player is easy to use and you can leave it to your child for changing the modes, switching to the next or previous story/rhyme/mantra etc. Saregama Mini Kids is a complete package for your child's educational and playtime needs. You can full charge this device in upto 2 hours and it can give upto 5 hours of battery backup. During our review, we got around 3-4 hours of backup but it all depends on the usage.

The USP of this audio player is the preloaded content library and good design. Moreover, you do not need an internet connection to operate this device and it is easy to use so no extra efforts required to operate it. It is good for the basic education for the children aged between 2-10 years.
