OSS Infocom Unveils Bythlon Pedals for Adventure And Sports Cyclists

OSS Infocom, has introduced a complete set of pedals and cleats of Bythlon pedals for adventure and sports cyclists in India. The Bythlon Pedal System offers the performance of clipless pedals without the risks of clipping-in. These innovative pedals fit all common road-race shoes with the 3-bolts configuration. Durable cleat plate with abrasion-resistant and non-marking anti-slip TPU cleats.

Cyclists prefer purpose-developed bike shoes with very rigid soles that provide much higher power transfer than regular shoes. Bike shoes require a cleat system to stay on the pedal. Clipless systems contain a pedal with a spring lock and a cleat-plate mounted to a cycling shoe. The cyclist steps into the pedal and clips the cleat into the pedal by overcoming the spring-resistance.

This disengagement often fails in a case of emergency, such as unexpected stops. The riders can't get out and crash with their bikes. The Bythlon pedal system uses for the first time a cleat with a patented form-fitting connection instead of a lock. It holds the shoe in place, and the cyclists can step out any time in a very natural movement: They lift their feet and are free. It further increases the bike-usability by eliminating the need to wear bike shoes at all times. It works with bike shoes, regular shoes, or even barefoot.

According to Martin Feuerhahn, Founder of Bythlon, "The Bythlon cleat pedal system provides the performance of a clipless pedal without the risk of being clipped in."

These high technology pedals are designed by experts in Germany and Made in Taiwan. It can fits all common road-race shows with the 3-bolt configuration, it is durable for clean plate with abrasion resistant and non-marking anti-slip TPU cleats. Bythlon's patent-pending technology is based on the biomechanics of cycling and the roles that physiology and technology played. Historically, cyclists used metal toe clips and leather straps to tie their shoes to the pedal, hoping to enhance their pedaling performance. It has been replaced by toe-clips with today's popular clip-in pedals, and called them "clipless". The cleat plate has a convex surface engaging the pedal body's matching the concave shape. When you press a convex and concave surface together, both will align. So it is the Bythlon's pedal geometry that automatically transitions your foot back in the right position during the power phase for maximum efficiency, every time. The safety concern with this method is that the cyclists can't simply pull out of the pedal to disengage but need to rotate their feet on the pedal, to perform a wiggle movement.

"We are extremely happy to introduce these high-tech Bythlon pedals to the adventure and sports enthusiasts of India. These Bythlon pedals are using the patented technology built by cyclists and are easy in and out features that the cyclist will never fear being locked to their bikes. It works with any three-thread bike shoe and allows your feet to turn to relieve knee and hip joints with 10 degrees that Prevents any kind of injury. With Bythlon pedals, we aim to succeed in serving people with technologically advanced safety gadgets and reinforce our commitment of helping our customers in future too" said Amit Sinsinwal, Director of OSS Infocom.
