Huawei Unveils The Latest Innovation Watch GT 2 Smart Watch with AMOLED Display

Huawei Consumer Business group, India launched its much anticipated smart watch, the Huawei Watch GT 2. Focusing on consumer-centric innovation customised to suit their needs, the Huawei Watch GT2 comes with 2 weeks of battery life after one charge, supports Bluetooth calling, in-device music and capacity to store and play 500 songs. The new Huawei Watch GT-2 will have Super AMOLED display with 3D glass screen.

The watch is equipped with Huawei's proprietary Kirin A1 Chipset to improve on battery life. The Kirin A1 chipset integrates an advanced Bluetooth processing unit, a powerful audio processing unit, an ultra-low power consumption application processor and a separate power management unit. In daily use the Huawei Watch GT-2 can operate continuously for up to two weeks with both the intelligent heart rate monitor and call notification functions.

For Huawei Consumer Business Group, Huawei Watch GT-2 is just the first step in bringing the Kirin A1 to India. The Kirin A1 Chipset will help Huawei further its footprint in India's wearable segment down the road.

Huawei is committed to helping consumers better manage their own health. The upcoming Huawei Watch GT-2 is compatible with 15 sports including eight outdoor sports (running, walking, climbing, hiking trail running, cycling, open water, triathlon) and seven indoor sports (walking, running, cycling, swimming pool, free training, elliptical machine, rowing machine). In terms of heart rate monitoring, the user will be notified if heart rate is above 100bpm or below 50bpm for more than 10 minutes. The watch is also powered with sleep monitoring function.

Offline & Online: The watch will be available across Flipkart, Amazon, Croma and other leading retail stores. As part of pre-sale activity, the customers can book the watch 12 a.m. onwards, from December 12th to 18th, 2019 and they will get a Huawei Freelace worth MRP 6999 free. They are required to make the full payment for the watch at the time of booking the watch.

First Sale Activity: 19th -31st – The first sale for the watch will start from 12 AM (Midnight) and customer will get a chance to get the Huawei Minispeaker (INR 2999) for free. They can also avail the option of No-Cost EMI.
