Those days have gone when there was huge gender gap in top technology jobs in India. Gradually women have taken up top jobs in tech market which is still dominated by male counterpart. Now Technology industry has witnessed the growth of women leadership in recent times despite many challenges a women face in making balance between professional and personal life. Few years back, they had to give-up their professional goal due to personal responsibilities. Even family members had different vision at that time but now the scenario has completely changed. It's not only family, even company has opted policies to support women talent in their respective organizations. These all positive development has helped women to continue their professional goal and today they all are true inspiration for many other women. With this listing, we really appreciate efforts of such women leaders who had conquered all challenges and proved their mettle in a technology world by establishing themselves into India's Top Tech Women Power.

On this Women's Day, we have listed the top women personalities in the Indian ICT industry who have emerged as a true catalysts of women's power.

       1. Vanitha Narayanan,

MD, Verizon Global Account, IBM Global Markets

Vanitha Narayanan is the Managing Director for Verizon Global Account, IBM Global Markets. Earlier this year, Narayanan returned to the U.S. after about nine years in India across leadership positions at IBM. Under Narayanan, India became one of the fastest growing markets for IBM. "You have to build a platform and context that all the stakeholders with different priorities and backgrounds find relevant," she says. She now deftly navigates her new role as managing director for the Verizon account as part of IBM Global Markets. Narayanan played a critical role in providing strategic insights to the NITI Aayog in framing policies for making students industry-ready.

  1. Kumud Srinivasan

Vice President, Director of Non-volatile Memory Fab Manufacturing & Automation Systems, Intel Corporation

Responsible for the manufacturing and IT systems of Intel's non-volatile memory factories. This includes establishing a multi-year phased road map, delivering to the road map, and leading the improvement of the systems, particularly with respect to their cost structure. She has over 28 years of experience in leadership roles working in a global environment with focus on digital transformations. Prior to this role at Intel, she was the president of Intel India. In that role, she was responsible for general management of Intel's operations in India, which includes location's overall strategy, relationships with government, industry and academia, business-enabling operations, organizational development, engineering and innovation for market development.

  1. Aruna Jayanthi

Managing Director, Asia Pacific and Latin America Business Unit, Capgemini

Aruna Jayanthi is the Managing Director, Asia Pacific and Latin America Business Unit, Capgemini. She is also a Member of the Group Executive Committee. Prior to this, Aruna was Head of Capgemini's Business Services, a global strategic business unit of over 26,000 people that delivers enhanced operational agility and accelerated transformation of business processes to reimagine our clients' operations for the digital age. She was responsible for the SBU's evolution towards increased adoption of intelligent automation, platforms, and "as-a-service" models, continuing our journey as a global market leader in business services.

  1. Debjani Ghosh

President, NASSCOM

Debjani Ghosh is the President of the National Association of Software & Services Companies (NASSCOM) since April 2018. A veteran of the technology industry who has worked many years for Intel and Cisco at very key positions. She is the fifth president of NASSCOM currently and the first women at the helm. NASSCOM, is the premier trade body of the industry in India, with over 2800 Indian and multinational member companies. As President of NASSCOM, Debjani is responsible for establishing new growth areas for the technology industry in India and works with governments and industry stakeholders to establish policies and initiatives that help accelerate the growth of the sector in India and across the world.

  1. Jayanthi Sethuraman

Director, Marketing Communications, Western Digital India

Jayanthi Sethuraman is the Director of Marketing Communication at Western Digital India. Jayanthi is a proven marketing leader with extensive experience in strategy, brand stewardship, public relations, demand generation and customer experience. She has 20+ years of experience across tech majors including IBM, HP, Fujitsu, Tally Solutions and PSI Data Systems and is currently associated with Western Digital, India. Her experience in marketing spans IT Infrastructure, Services, Solutions, Software, the Healthcare Industry and Startups. Jayanthi is adept at carving out thought leadership platforms and establishing a unique point of view for the company as well as partner organizations. Jayanthi holds an M.S. in Advertising from Syracuse University, USA.

  1. Ritu Gupta

Director – Marketing, Consumer & Small Business, Dell India

Ritu Gupta leads the Brand Marketing team for Consumer and Small Business (CSB) for Dell India. She is responsible for developing the overall Brand Strategy for Dell in India, across its product portfolio, making Dell as the Brand of Choice for consumers. In addition to her responsibility for driving the overall Channel Marketing Strategy for Dell CSB segment, she is also responsible for Dell's Social Media Strategy in India. She has been with Dell since 2011 and is also a member of the Dell WISE (Women In Search of Excellence) program for Dell women team members. A Marketing professional with over 17 years of experience across industries, like – Consumer Research, Durables, FMCG & Financial Services.

  1. Arati Naik

Executive Director, Smartlink Systems Ltd.

Arati Naik is Executive Director at Smartlink Systems Ltd.  She started her career in Smartlink Network Systems Limited at an executive level and slowly rose to the role of the CMO during which she led the DIGISOL brand with successful marketing campaigns. Soon, she took over as the Chief Operations Officer in Digisol Systems Limited to oversee the DIGISOL brand business. Currently she is a director at SMARTLINK holdings Ltd. Arati Naik holds BE (Honours) in Computing Technology and MSc (Honours in Business Information Systems from University of Bolton, United Kingdom.

Chairman and Sr. Managing Director, Accenture India 

Rekha M. Menon is the Chairman and Senior Managing Director at Accenture in India. In this role, she is responsible for building Accenture's business, strengthening Accenture's position and enhancing the profile of Accenture in India. She oversees the integration of Accenture's overall growth strategy with our long-term vision for the country. An industry veteran leading the discourse on advanced technology led innovation and socio-economic progress. Rekha is a member of NASSCOM's Executive Council, National Council of CII, National Executive Board of AMCHAM, and USIBC's India Advisory Council. Roshni Nadar Malhotra is the Executive Director and CEO of HCL Corporation. She is responsible for providing strategic guidance to the organization.
