KK for DRY ICE/AI

    1. As organizations grapple with disruptive forces on technology, competition and dynamic business environment, how to edge out the competition remains the key challenge for most companies. For the past few years, companies have looked to Artificial Intelligence (AI) to lead and drive this differentiation and what we are now seeing is the use of AI to dive innovation and transform the user experience.
    2. HCL Technologies has been a pioneer in AI and has been working with clients for years on the application of this technology. What we expect to see in 2019 is the following:
  1. AI Workspaces: AI and related technologies are increasingly being used across workplace environments. At HCL, we strongly believe that although this will continue to grow, we will likely see standardization in terms of both functional and non-functional aspects of technology adoption. With standardization, we can expect to see fuelled intelligent interactions between humans and technology in a natural setting leading to intelligent collaboration and amplified productivity and efficiency within workspaces. We also expect the "wellness" aspect getting mainstream adoption driven by AI capabilities being incorporated in this space.
  1. Conversational BI & Analytics: We are seeing two major shifts happening in entire BI/Analytics and AI space. First, analytic capabilities are moving toward augmented analytics, which is capable of giving more business down insights and has less dependency on domain experts. Second, we are seeing is the convergence of conversational platforms with these enhanced capabilities around augmented analytics. We expect these capabilities and adoption to quickly proliferate across organizations, especially those organizations that already are having some form for BI in place.

iii.      Business Immersed AI (BIA): Businesses are increasingly getting acquainted to differentiated capabilities that AI can bring to them. While we expect this trend to continue, one major transformation we are seeing is the change on how AI is being used across businesses. Rather than people or processes driving or taking business decisions, we expect the role of AI changing tremendously, in not just augmenting business decisions but also getting pervasive across various business use cases and driving key business transformations for growth.

  1. Bots and Humanoids/Robotics: These are continuing trends where we expect to see increased adoption as organizations zero down on specific use cases they want Bots/Humanoids etc. to address. Organizations have started understanding the value they bring in along with trust and accuracy enabled by in-built AI/ML. All this is expected to bring exponential impact on services and human interactions, especially in service oriented scenarios.
  2. We believe, AI is enabling exciting times and avenues across the globe. Human imagination is the limit, which is constantly being pushed in pursuit of larger benefit for businesses and mankind. We expect this industry to keep growing with exciting frontiers being conquered. Lets unravel the magic called "AI", amen.
