In the recent past KENT observed that there is a large racket behind, manufacturing and supplying spurious spare parts such as Ro membranes, sediment filters, carbon filters. These spare parts are basics spare parts of Water Purifiers for possessing contaminated water to pure potable water for human consumption.
Since drinking pure water is vital to human health and contaminated or impure water will have a health hazard, therefore, Kent aggressively pursuing actions to restrict counterfeiters, who for a small monetary gain playing with the health of the innocent consumes.
In three separate incidents Kent conducted Police Raids with the help of its investigating agencies and succeeded in catching hold of counterfeiters at Bangalore, Nagpur and Ujjain.
F.I.Rs have been registered and accused Lokesh the owner of Aqua Star water Technology, Bangalore, Ankit Uttamchand Paridhi, Ganesh Nagar, Nagpur and Sanjay Patidar owner of Patidar Home Services, Ujjainhave been arrested. Police authorities of the respective places seized large number of spurious /fake filters. Police seized more than 300 numbers of counterfeit filters in each location.
Kent is aggressively pursuing its Brand Protection activities targeting to eliminate counterfeiters. Kent has appointed investigating agencies in all parts of India to effectively carryout its Brand Protection activities. More raids and seize operations will be conducted on day to day basis to unearth and eliminate this entire racket involved in counterfeit and duplicate product and spare part of KENT Brand Water purifiers.
