Realme Quicksilver Launch Confirmed with Snapdragon 778G 5G

Realme has announced that it will be one of the first manufacturers to come equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G, the latest Qualcomm 5G mobile platform. The announcement was made on the heels of the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit 2021. realme's upcoming device code named "Quicksilver" powered by Snapdragon 778G 5G will allow all realme users to enjoy an unrivaled experience enhanced by the unprecedented speeds of 5G. 

Commenting on the announcement, Madhav Sheth, VP-realme and CEO – realme India and Europe said "This is a milestone both for realme and our users. realme is working towards being a democratizer of next-gen 5G technology unlocking the potential of 5G to deliver exciting new experiences for consumers globally. realme has worked closely with Qualcomm on a variety of successful products, earlier this year, realme GT was one of the first devices equipped with SDM888 and we are again proud to be among the first brands to bring smartphones equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 5G chipset. The chipset will improve the performance of smartphones and will provide advanced gaming capabilities."

Snapdragon 778G 5G mobile platform is a 6nm chip with Qualcomm Kryo 670 CPU. It can achieve a 40% performance improvement and also has excellent energy efficiency. Its Adreno 642L GPU graphics rendering speed is about 40% faster than the previous generation. Together with GT mode and a new cooling system, realme will bring a leap-forward performance on its upcoming smartphone for its users. 

realme has been working closely with Qualcomm to bring the latest technology to users. Earlier this year, realme GT was one of the first devices equipped with SDM888. realme is now working with Qualcomm on its upcoming devices code named "Quicksilver".
