National Institute of Engineering Partners with AgFlex Technologies to Develop Products for Medicinal Purpose

The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore has tied up with AgFlex Technologies Ltd to develop silver based products for medicinal purpose.

The collaboration between the two aims to aid students have a better understanding of industry through interactions and further nurture research abilities among students.

Addressing the benefits of the collaboration to students, Dr. RohiniNagapadma HOD Electronics & Communication Engineering Department NIE Mysore said, "NIE is very glad to have this MOU signed up with Advanced Noble Synergies. Electronics & Communication Engineering students will benefit from the synergy of industry and institution towards building solutions for tomorrow. They will work on R & D projects as well as pursue internship in the firm."

Mysore based Ag Flex Technologies has been the pioneer of silver based technology in India. They have carried out research for several years to come up with a unique technology to be able to metallize various substrates with silver. Ag Flex works to develop state of the art technology based products for all. The MOU with NIE aims at providing industry exposure to students and further sponsor worthy projects.

Speaking about the collaboration Mr. Umesh Kothari, Managing Director AgFlex Technologies said, "This association will realize significant benefits to all of us starting with the Students who will work on various projects. They will gain significant industry knowledge as far as R & D process is concerned. Furthermore, students will also develop the ability to be disruptive innovators.
