Genpact has received the Golden Peacock Global Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance in recognition of its outstanding commitment to corporate governance, transparency, ethics, risk management, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, and involvement with its stakeholders and communities around the world.
The award, established by the Institute of Directors, recognizes exemplary organizational performance, and includes a rigorous three-tiered evaluation process that assessed Genpact's corporate governance guidelines, effectiveness of the Board, risk management system and sustainability practices. The evaluation jury was led by Justice (Dr.) Arijit Pasayat, former judge, Supreme Court of India.

Genpact received this honor based on a number of internal programs implemented to reduce risk and foster sustainability. For example, Genpact's information security practice helps minimize risk through its robust processes for cybersecurity and data protection. Moreover, the company aligns its business strategy with its sustainable development agenda, to reduce specific resource consumption, resulting in the reduction of the environmental footprint. Additionally, Genpact has consolidated a number of its offices into intelligent buildings and achieved measurable water conservation, waste minimization, and transport emission reduction.
The Golden Peacock Awards, established by The Institute of Directors (IOD), India in 1991, are now regarded as a benchmark of corporate excellence worldwide.
