Ola Electric has announced the pre-bookings for its electric scooter. The customers can pre-book their e-scooter on Ola's website with a booking amount of just Rs. 499.
The e-scooter will be launched in India on the occasion of India's 75th Independence Day. The customers who will pre-book the e-scooter will get first priority at the time of delivery. The scooter will be available for customers in total of 10 colors including black, red, yellow, navy blue, white, sky blue, pink, and grey.
In India, the craze of buying electric vehicles is increasing very fast and people are rapidly switching to e-bikes or e-scooters. The major factor behind this shift is obviously our environment concern and secondly the increasing price of petrol and diesel. This shift towards electric vehicles will surely help in saving our nature and build a sustainable future.
There is a very big potential in the electric vehicle market thus big market players in the auto industry are stepping into the electric vehicle segment. With its huge presence and reputation in the market, Ola is set to leverage the opportunities. Ola is making a big investment in this segment and last year, the company announced INR 2,400 crore investment to set up its e-scooter factory in Tamil Nadu.
The pricing is also playing a crucial factor in the buying capacity of customers in India. Though Ola has not yet revealed the price of its e-scooters but it is expected that the company will soon reveal all the features and price of this next-gen e-scooter.
