What’s new about this update?

The research team of WhatsApp has announced as addition of the latest privacy feature that protects the IP address during calls, the update will be applicable in the app in the near future. The new update will enable users with an option called silence unknown callers. Users can easily mute calls from unknown senders while they are still visible in user notifications and on the call tab. 

The new feature aims to protect the privacy and security of the users in a better way. Another attribute that WhatsApp is developing is - privacy call relay. These features will be available alongside the latest version of WhatsApp Beta when ready to download from the Google Play Store.

  3. Message editing now supports media content alongside captions.

  4. The user interface has been refreshed, featuring Material 3 menus and switches.

  5. The user interface has been updated, incorporating Material 3-style menus along with switches.
