realme announced the highly anticipated, online focused realme P4 series, introducing cutting-edge innovations in performance and visual experience will be launched in India on August 20th, 2025. As the first smartphone in the industry under ₹30,000 to feature dual chipsets, the realme P4 Pro combines the power of Snapdragon® 7 Gen 4 and Hyper Vision AI chipset co-developed with Pixelworks to deliver a performance and display experience that challenges flagship standards at a mid-range price point.
Alongside, the realme P4 leverages a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G chipset with Pixelworks’ dedicated GPU, delivering smooth visual performance, enhanced display quality, and superior power efficiency, making cutting-edge visual computing more accessible than ever.
This partnership builds on realme’s vision to make advanced technology more accessible, and represents a leap forward in mobile gaming, thermal efficiency, and immersive visuals for Indian users.
Speaking on the collaboration, Francis Wong, Chief Marketing Officer, realme India said,
”As we are bringing a leaner product line-up, the new realme P series is clearly defined as our Performance driven Online series to compete with VIVO and MOTO on Flipkart. realme is readily back for online competition with great new tech at never before price: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 has been newly launched in 2025, and realme is proud to be the first brand introducing this chipset in India.
And just like periscope lens was popularized over the years, this launch marks a key milestone in pioneering dedicated GPU for the mass. A dedicated GPU will become a must for all smartphones in the next 3 years. Bringing two flagship level features in one go at never before price, we predict that the realme P4 series will be one of the most successful online product lines in 2025.”
“Congratulations on the launch of the realme P4 series smartphone!” said Jun Fang, Vice President of Pixelworks and General Manager of Mobile Business Unit. “As the first models in the realme P series to integrate a dedicated visual processor, realme P4 series is providing users an unprecedented immersive visual experience among its mid-range peers. The new P4 series smartphone epitomizes Pixelworks’ profound AI technologies in rendering acceleration, game performance and picture quality. We are honored to partner with realme to continuously up level the visual experiences for consumers.”
At the heart of the realme P4 Pro lies a dual-chip setup, combining general-purpose compute with specialized visual processing. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is the most advanced 7-series chipset to date, built on a 4nm TSMC process, delivering over 1.1 million Antutu score. It ensures powerful CPU and GPU performance for multitasking, gaming, and demanding applications.
Working alongside it is the HyperVision AI Chipset powered by the Pixelworks X7 Gen 2 visual processor, handling dedicated rendering, frame rate upscaling, and AI-based resolution enhancement. This hardware-level offloading allows the Snapdragon 7 gen 4 chipset to deliver performance similar to 8 Gen level chipset.
Together, with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and the dedicated Hyper Vision AI graphics chip ensure 144FPS gameplay across over 100 titles, real-time frame generation, and up to 1.5K resolution upscaling. The Hyper Vision AI chip brings a 300% boost in clarity and 300% smoother performance with features like AI Hyper Clarity, AI Hyper Motion, and AI Always-On HDR, making the realme P4 Pro one of the most optimized and visually immersive gaming smartphones that is even comparable to 8 Gen flagships.
With GT Performance Engine 3.0, realme P4 Pro balances sustained performance with intelligent thermal control. The Pixelworks chip not only enhances visuals but also improves system responsiveness by handling rendering independently, allowing for longer gaming sessions without overheating or throttling.
In competitive games like BGMI, the realme P4 Pro delivers a stable 144fps, setting a new benchmark in its segment. Additionally, the phone introduces Frame Generation Index in collaboration with PerfDog, giving users real-time visibility into performance gains enabled by the Pixelworks hardware.
The realme P4 also features a dual-chip architecture, combining the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G SoC with the Pixelworks visual processor, to ensure smoother gameplay, better frame stability, and an enhanced visual experience, making high-performance gaming more accessible in the mid-range category.
Design
The realme P4 Pro debuts the Living Nature Design, a blend of organic inspiration and modern craftsmanship that makes the device as distinctive to hold as it is to behold. Its back panel is made from premium tech-wood material, chosen for its durability and refined feel, with each grain pattern meticulously polished to preserve the natural texture and depth of real wood. This results in a surface that is smooth yet tactile in hand, visually dynamic under changing light, and resistant to everyday wear.
The design comes in three nature-inspired finishes, Birch Wood, a light, sun-warmed grain evoking the calm of early spring forests; Dark Oak Wood, a deep brown tone influenced by ancient hardwood that conveys richness and strength; and Midnight Ivy, a muted emerald shade that captures the quiet drama of where ocean meets forest. Each variant offers a unique sensory experience, balancing timeless natural beauty with the precision of advanced engineering.
The realme P4 introduces the Metal Heart Design, a rugged yet refined aesthetic inspired by industrial engineering. Defined by clean metallic lines and a distinctive exposed screw detail, the design conveys both strength and style, appealing to users who value durability without compromising on visual appeal. It is available in three striking color options, Steel Grey, sleek and understated; Engine Blue, bold and dynamic; and Forge Red, energetic and youthful, each giving the device its own distinct personality.
