India-headquartered global consumer tech brand, CMF delivered standout growth in 2025, emerging as the fastest-growing brand in its category, as per Counterpoint Research - Q4 2025 India Smartphone Shipment Tracker. The brand recorded 83% year-on-year growth in 2025, with momentum continuing into the final quarter, where CMF grew 59% year-on-year in Q4 2025, making it the fastest-growing brand in its category during the period.
The growth follows CMF’s recent announcement that it now operates as a separate, legally incorporated entity headquartered in India, reinforcing the country’s role as the brand’s long-term base. This move builds on Nothing’s USD 100 million manufacturing joint venture with Optiemus, aimed at establishing India as a global production and export hub for CMF and Nothing products.
Nothing also posted strong performance in India. The company was the fastest-growing smartphone OEM in Q4 2025, recording 32% year-on-year growth, driven by the continued expansion of its offline retail presence across key markets. On a full-year basis,
Consumers and retail partners have consistently cited Nothing’s clean and smooth user interface, stable connectivity, and distinctive design as key drivers of demand. The company continues to scale its presence in India, aligned with the Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative, including the localisation of production for its smartphone portfolio.
Further underscoring its long-term commitment to the market, Nothing recently announced that it will open its first flagship retail store in India on 14 February 2026, located in Bengaluru. The store will serve as a physical showcase for the brand’s product ecosystem and community engagement in one of its most important global markets.
Together, the performance of CMF and Nothing highlights the growing strength of the group in India and its ambition to build globally relevant consumer technology brands with India at the centre.
