The update brings Music on Profiles, a Stickers Mini App, a refreshed profile design for Android, customizable profile tabs, dynamic gift themes, and upgraded tools for gift valuation and enhancements. With these additions, users now have more creative ways to personalize their profiles, interact with collectibles, and share richer experiences on the platform.
Music On Your Profile
Users can now add audio tracks from any of their chats directly to their profile. Songs appear in a stylish bar beneath the profile photo, automatically forming a playlist as more tracks are added. With a single tap in the media player or via the ‘Save to… > Profile’ option, users can showcase their favorite music in a seamless way.
Stickers Mini App
Telegram has introduced a new Stickers Mini App that enables users to create, manage, and share custom stickers and emoji with ease. Integrated with the @Stickers bot, the app also provides detailed usage statistics, giving creators greater control and visibility over their packs. This update further expands Telegram’s open platform for user-generated artwork.
New Profile Design on Android
Inspired by a recent design contest, Telegram profiles on Android now feature a sleek look with smooth scrolling animations previously seen on iOS. The update reflects Telegram’s ongoing engagement with its community of developers, designers, and creators, offering them opportunities to showcase their work and contribute to the platform.
Default Profile Tab
Users can now choose which tab appears first when others view their profile. Whether highlighting saved stories or gift collections, the feature offers greater control over how profiles are presented. This can be customized via Settings > My Profile by holding down on a tab and selecting Set as Main Tab.
Gift Themes
Telegram is introducing dozens of new dynamic chat wallpapers based on collectible gifts. Owners of gifts such as Plush Pepes, Precious Peaches, Durov's Caps, and Heart Lockets can now apply unique themes in private chats. Each collectible unlocks one theme, making gifting both personal and visually engaging.
Upgrading Gifts for Other Users
With the new update, users can send Stars to help friends upgrade their gifts. The recipient can later redeem the upgrade at no cost.
