Users can also control poll settings with options like visible votes, time limits, shuffled answers and restricted revoting. A dedicated tab now makes it easier to access both active and past polls within groups and channels.

Live and Motion Photos

Telegram now natively supports iOS Live Photos and Android Motion Photos — so users can send looping photos that are viewable in any Telegram app. The sender can choose from 3 different styles in the media editor: Live, Loop and Bounce. Live plays the photo once when opened, Loop continuously plays, while Bounce plays forward and reverse on a loop.

Managed Bots

Telegram has expanded its bot ecosystem by allowing bots to create and manage other bots, simplifying development and deployment. This allows anyone to utilize AI bots to easily develop and launch their own bot — with no coding required.

Document Scanner on iOS

Telegram for iOS now allows users to create scans of documents with their phone's camera — and can stitch multiple images into one file. The document scanner instantly removes the background, crops the image and converts it to PDF format. While scanning, you can tap an image to make manual adjustments — like changing the border, adding a filter or rotating the image.

Warning About Unofficial Apps

Telegram’s official apps are fully open source, featuring verifiable builds and robust encryption protocols to ensure high levels of trust and transparency. The platform now supports independent developers in creating third-party Telegram apps, and now displays a security alert on the profiles of users using such apps to indicate that messages sent to them may have lower security.

With this update, Telegram continues to enhance messaging through AI-driven tools, richer group interactions and expanded developer capabilities, reinforcing its position as a feature-rich and privacy-focused communication platform.
