“We Strongly Feel That Customer Satisfaction is Paramount”

Within a few years of it's India operation, Astrum has succeeded in connecting to Indian customers. The brand has made its presence felt across all verticals with high-quality product offerings. The brand has already chalked out their overall product and channel plans for the Year 2020 to achieve new heights in the Indian market. Manoj Kumar Pansari, CMD, Astrum India shared his company's growth story, product plan and target for 2020 in an exclusive chat with Telecom Today.       

Q: How do you see the brand's overall business growth in CY 2019? 

A: Astrum's performance in the Indian market has always been robust, we have been consistently registering growth, month on month, both in terms of revenue as well as Market Penetration in the year 2019. Our widening product portfolio has seen a positive response amongst consumers and acceptance from the Indian Market. Operating from the city that never sleeps – Mumbai, Astrum has witnessed an acoustic growth of more than 70 percent in the year-on-year revenue and is looking forward to exponential growth for the coming years.

Q: What will be your overall business growth or target revenue for CY 2020? 

A: Astrum is currently focusing on the area of IoT & AI and is prepared to launch some of those products soon with the focus of bringing more 'Smart' products to consumers that will help improving the quality of life. As Astrum, we are developing our sales strategies to market our self in 360-degree exposure. When we say 360-degree brand visibility means we will mark our presence in GT (General Trade), OT/LFR, Ecommerce and corporate. We can surely make 400% growth in India to measure our strong sales achievements.

Q: What will be your key focused products line-up in the year 2020? 

A: Our manufacturing factory in Tirupati has started with the production of the products and we have already released a new range in audio and mobility sector. Currently, we are being more focused on bringing smarter products in our category as well as in IT peripherals such as keyboards and headphones.  We will soon introduce our new Astrum application, which will be specially designed for Astrum's smart product category both for Android and iOS. Which will notify the users with new updates. Moreover, we will also increase the production in all categories in the year 2020.

Q: What will be your channel strategy to drive substantial growth?

A: Astrum has tied-up with a distributor for PAN India presence and for multiple segments. We are very channel-friendly company and believe in growing with our channel partners and recently we have associated with Park network Delhi, Saboo computers Kolkata, The Compu world Lucknow, Ramniwas enterprise Lucknow, home appliances Patna, Ramgopal enterprise Bihar, Mehta computers and peripherals Gujarat, Poorvika and many more. We at are currently focusing on building a strong channel network. We will be also in all major leaflet such as Reliance, Croma, Vijay sales etc by March. Being one of the competent brands in present, we are targeting to take WOD (Width of distribution) growth to 10000 numbers by end of March 2020.

Q: What is your service commitment for your loyal customers?  

A: We strongly feel that customer satisfaction is paramount. We keep on investing on building excellent service support experience for our loyal customers. We have authorized service centre with 1500+ locations across nation and the expansion will continue for next 6 months.
