“We Have Always Taken as ‘Channel First’ Approach for Our Products”

Unistal is one of the well-known Indian brands in Data Recovery Software and Security solutions domain. The brand is serving the nation from last 26 years and has more than 12,000,000 licensed customers and presence in more than 100 countries along with 5000 channel partners. Year 2019 was very good for the brand and now they are targeting 200 % growth in year 2020 with some robust new product plans.  Alok Gupta, MD & Co-Founder at Unistal Systems Pvt. Ltd. shared company’s growth report for 2019 and future plans with Telecom Today in a recent interaction.

Q: How do you see the brand’s overall business growth in CY 2019?

A: In terms of growth, we are moving ahead with a good pace and well placed to achieve our targets. We are expecting to reach our estimated target of 30% to 40% year on year growth by the end of 2019. Till now our track record is smooth and we are well-positioned to post some exceptional final figures. This year, we have strengthened our products and solutions portfolio with the successful launch of the enterprise version of Protegent/Activity Reporter and SmartGasNetTM solution for City Gas Distribution network, which are significantly contributing to the growth of the company.

Q: What will be your overall business growth or target revenue for CY 2020?

A: We are aiming for 200 percent growth in 2020. We have lined up many exciting plans for the year 2020, including the launch of new products and solutions as well as featuring in some new segments.

Q: What will be your key focused products line-up /verticals in the year 2020?

A: We have many exciting plans lined up for the year 2020. Recently, we have successfully completed OEM tie-ups to sell our range of products as a bundled solution. We are also confident of creating a good customer base for our new product Protegent Enterprise Security-Activity Reporter which is an ideal solution to provide high-level security for SMEs and large enterprises. Apart from this, we expect a complete turnaround for the company with our newly launched solutions for City Gas Distribution and Water Distribution Management.

Q: What will be your channel strategy to drive substantial growth?

A: We have always taken as ‘Channel First’ approach for our products. With our regional distributors in East, West, North and South of India, now we have a pan India presence. With more than 5000 channel partners in India, we are continuously expanding our channel base. Apart from the metros, Tier- II and Tier- III cities are our main focus. In these regions, we intend to connect with some new partners and resellers. With the growing demand for our products and solutions, we are also in the process of setting up our partner network in the Middle-East and African countries.

Q: What are your service support commitment for your loyal customers?

A: We are committed to provide the best service assistance to our esteemed customers. We have a special service assistance wing to resolve customer queries related to each and every product. We organise regular training programs for our partners in many cities across India. Apart from metros, now we have multiple service partners in tier-1 and tier-2 cities to provide services for various customer requirements. Customers can also connect with us to get support for various products and services through a Toll-Free number which is available Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
