When it comes to secure your digital assets, Kaspersky has been always there to give you best solutions across all verticals. The brand has gradually expanding its base PAN India with strong channel network. In recent times, the brand has also made key development to take on other South Asian market under leadership of Shrenik Bhayani, General Manager, Kaspersky Lab (South Asia). DT brings his overall plan for Year 2019.
DT: How has been the year 2018 for you?
Mr. Shrenik: The year 2018 has been really dynamic for us. This year we entered new markets, achieved our set goals, introduced our security guardian-Midori Kuma to the consumers, our latest launch of Kaspersky Cloud Security, and protected and secured millions of consumers, and progressed together towards building a cyber secure nation. Our new distributor appointments in the Bangladesh & Sri Lanka market are the major highlights of 2018, followed by our drive to make everyone associated with us including our distributors and partners happy through our ‘Kaspersky Sales Army’ programme. Our enterprise business has seen 100%+ growth as aimed by us and we are positively looking forward to explore newer opportunities in 2019.
DT: How are you currently working with your partners to strengthen your market position?
Mr. Shrenik: We have always said this and will continue to say that our partners are our strongest supporters. Completing 20 years of securing the world we have a lot of strong supporters globally as our partners and so is the case in India. Over the years we have been successful in growing strongly hand in hand with our partners. The ecosystem with them is that of trust, loyalty and support. We keep coming up with incentive programs for our partners that not only promise them their deserved growth in the industry but also the extra perks of being a part of the Kaspersky Lab family. Our recent ‘Sales Army’ programme is an example worth-mentioning.
DT: What is your overall roadmap to escalate your growth further in CY 2019?
Mr. Shrenik: Our main focus for 2019 will be on our recently launched Kaspersky Threat Management & Defence (KTMD) solution. Cyber Security Awareness & Trainings being one of the most exciting offerings under KTMD solution. Further we have interesting schemes and incentive programs planned for our consumers and channel partners in the upcoming year. Our expansion in other South Asia markets have been promising and we look forward to grow there as much as we expect our growth in India. We will have a lot more sales & technical trainings for our partners. Our partners will also soon hear about an exclusive loyalty program. This loyalty program will be one of the best in the industry.
